Unión de Arte opens to the public during the 1980s combining oriental art with western art.

Ivory carvings, sculptures in semi-precious stones and wood, porcelain vases and masks, among others, constitute one of the largest collections of Far East art in Barcelona. Simultaneously, Unión de Arte has a permanent exhibition of the Catalan painter Quimet Sabaté and has organized exhibitions of a number of artists.
